THE MDV BAND is a high-energy blues-rock five-piece from WA, blending gritty guitar riffs, soulful vocals, and groove-rich rhythms into a sound that’s raw, dynamic, and deeply rooted in classic rock and blues traditions.

Led by guitarist and co-vocalist Mark De Vattimo (ex-Voyager) and powerhouse vocalist Marisa De Vattimo, the band includes WAAPA-trained drummer Jessie Shortis, rock-solid bassist Tara Spencer, and Cody Wiseman on keys, whose flair adds an extra layer to the band’s already rich sonic palette.

Formed out of a shared love for blues and rock, the band has grown into a live act known for captivating performances and a sound that balances soul, grit, and groove. With a growing following across Western Australia and standout gigs at The Perth Blues Club, South West Blues Club, and Albany Blues Club, THE MDV BAND is quickly building a strong reputation on the live circuit.

Their track Disappear was featured in the WA feature film Tainted Getaway (Rodman Pictures), and they’re currently in pre-production for their debut album. With plans to tour regionally and hit major festivals, THE MDV BAND is all about bringing powerful, feel-good live music to audiences wherever they go.
